Guys,

I am in no way advocating you donate to the Greater Yellowstone!! - the request was embedded in the news release I received.

Not sure what you mean, but if its against the wolves in Idaho, right on! Just read through the new Bugle Magazine and it says the "Elk numbers in the Yellowstone herd are the lowest since the late 60's at just under 5,000. Since 1995, the herd dropped 70%, from 16,791 to 4,635 in 2010, lowest in 40 years." I truly believe it, the past few seasons have been the worst I have ever seen. Thanks to the Feds!!!

Sorry, I thought I had make an earlier post informing you 10 of the plaintiffs against wolf delisting are now recommending wolf management in ID and MT be turned over to the state management agencies. Apparently they realize legislation at the national level is gaining tremendous traction and they may loose the ball game. IMO we should accept their offer but continue with the legislation to remove the gray wolf from ESA protection nation-wide.

I'm with Mike. In the case of the Wolf, the ESA was too much of a good thing for too long.  Now bureacrats, listening to folks who have contributed nothing to conservation over the past 100 years are endangering the act (ESA) itself by not declaring success and moving on to the next needy beast that development, not hunting has endangered.
