That post is no longer here. I had it book marked, but when I went to it recently, it said the topic does not exist. Sorry. I do remember that some of the paint on rubber stuff was used on an antler to make the mold. the mold was filled with resin. The the pieces were stained.

shaft, get a copy of the Fall 2007 "Bowyers Journal". There's a good article in there on page 21 by Mike Huston on casting antler burrs for limb bolts.
