Jamie....if you e-mail me your address, I'll send you two 2016 aluminums set up the way they shoot well for me.  If anyone else wants to send a carbon or two, or another size aluminum, then you could have some comparisons.  I can mail them tomorrow or Saturday if you get me your addy.

i dont really know rob. i would think about 26"
the arrows my friend let me borrow are 26 1/2"
and the come pretty close hitting my finger.

so a 27 1/2- 28" would be bout perfect..

you guys are super..

Jamie....how did your arrows work for your?  I put a 14 strand dacron string on mine and it quieted it down a lot.  My wood arrows are flying well now.

they havent showed up yet george. i thaught they would have been here by now. i hope nothing happened to them. i think 2016s will fly pretty good, i borrowed 2 26 1/2" 2018s from a friend of mine and at close range they hit nock right. so i think that means they are to stiff.

so a 28" 2016 with a 150 grain head should fly well, i hope.
i would really like to shoot carbons for durability, so im gonna be getting some gt35-55 from shawn leonard.

man ill tell ya what george, that samick verna bow we bought is probably the best 180.00 ive ever spent!! seems quick, quite, and looks great to!    :wavey:
jamie

P.S. george i dont even know what kind of string is on the bow now. it looks hand made. also can the shoot ff strings?
and lastly, i set my brace height to 7" and shot probably 300-400 shots over the course od 2 weeks. then i was shootin outside and noticed that the brace height was much shorter, about 5".
so i just spun the string around some, and got it back to 7". is that normal for a sring to stretch like that so much???
