The Gamemasters are decent bows. The 1s had a tendency to scale out higher than marked but they are a very upgradeable bow and with a little work can be quieted down and shoot well.

Thanks for the reply, just trying to quit the compound and go traditional, thinking of the hoyt or a predator recurve in the 55# range. Love the traditional way of shooting, been having a blast with the recurve, so far have taken a javelina with it, it's alot funner to shoot than the compound.

Hoyt also makes a new one called the Dorado that looks interesting.

I just picked up a Predator Hunter at 51#. Nice bow. Haven't shot it too much yet because of a bum elbow. Can't wait till I'm healthy again so I can give it good workout.

Shooter135,
Welcome. I've got a Pittsley Predator 51#. Sweet shooting bow- smooth, fast and no stacking till past 31". Can't go wrong with one. Some say the grip doesn't fit them well, too larger, which I don't doubt, but it fits me near perfect.
