Practicing with my new turkey call
« on: February 02, 2007, 06:24:00 PM »
Well ive been practicing with the new call i recived as a gift from Trad Gang member ber643. Ive been going non stop now for about three days. Have to put it away while the inside of my lips heal. But man what a sound it makes, its unbelevable you can get such a realestic yelp sound through a bunch of wing bones.

Thanks again Bernie this is going to be a blast.

The Indians knew what they were doing.

I have used mine from inside the house and called younger toms right up to the windows. They actually look inside for the hen.

LOL - yep, better let your lips heal before Turkey season. Bless your heart, Rick. I am so pleased you like your "White Elephant" and that you are having luck (and fun) with it. Hope it does you well in the "Turkey fields" also. The best part of the Wing Bone Calls is that not everyone has one so they may sound like a "new hen in town" to a wiley ol' Tom.
