brace height ?
« on: January 18, 2008, 11:51:00 AM »
I have a bear grizzly recurve, it is older , and I cannot find out how long the brace height should be. I am verry new to traditional equipment and will probable have a million questions for you guys, but this is the first.

Like I said it is a bear grizzly 58" 50# and there are #'s written on the side 7R1454.
Any help would be appreciated

thanks

It should brace around 8". Might try a little higher and lower than that and see where it is quiet and less vibration.

Thanks
My problem is I have a flemish string and I have to keep twisting it to get the same height and I think I had it at 7 1/2 but I would like to start it where it is supposed to be and tweek it from there.

Thanks for the info
