Pronghorn bows

I do. Had one of the three pc years ago and had to sell her. She was cocobola and elm limbs Broke my heart cause her and i was one when we walked the woods. But thanks to one super great man he sacrifaced one just like her to me at a great price, only lighter and handle that fits like a glove. Thanks Bob.

I have one. It's an older one from before he used the medallion. All Tiger Maple and beautiful! I have two sets of limbs that pull 49# and 56# at my draw. Plan on getting another set about 45# this year. Great Shooting bow. I replaced the grip and rest with Beavertail recently and she looks even better! No pics with them yet though.

I'm lovin' that tiger maple!  

Mine is about as plain-Jane as they come, brown diamondwood riser, elm limbs, but it shoots great!  Bought it used off the classifieds here.

That tiger maple is *gorgeous* DB!

There was a LH with a tiger maple riser and boo limbs available recently, but I wasn't in a position to pull the trigger.

I would also like to see the all BLACK ferret if there are pictures available.  Sounds like a beauty!

When did the medallion appear? I have a 3 pc I bought from somebody here and it has one--would love to know more about the bow as it has won me over.

I have three 3pc T/D Longbows all are 62" ranging from 54 to 56 lbs @ 28" and another on order from Herb, should be here in a couple of months. I have shot Pronghorns off and on for 15+ years,in the search for the "PerfectBow" well I have found it and it was right there all the time.


    Pete I agree about the Ferret, I was fortunate to pick one up used and it has the Series IV all glass limbs. Super smooth on the draw and everybody that shoots it says it draws like 50# and shoots like 60#.


   You won't find a nicer guy than Herb to work with!

I am on the low end of Pronghorn owners, only having one, but it is the only bow I have shot since getting it last summer. It has claimed two deer, a turkey, a few rabbits, and numerous stumps since getting into my hands.  Just a great bow. I should have bought one years ago.

Any feedback on the Series V foam core takedown?

I picked mine up about two months ago just to go the the Longbow Safari and I just fell in love with it 62' 52@28 very smooth and fast, I want to order a another one.

I have one 62" 57@28. It is a very nice bow. My personal bit of advice though. On Herbs design the 58" and 60" are a better bow in the foam core. I have shot them all. My Dad in fact has a 58 on order now.
