Knife Building Kits
«

Any recommendations on good knife kits. I'd like to try my hand a building a knife. Im not quite ready to dive into all the cutting and grinding to make a blade yet. Any suggestions?
Or is a question like this like someone showing up to a trad shoot with a compound??
Sorry in advance if it is.....

No worries Bobby, ya gotta start somewhere. Most of the knife supply houses sell kit knives. Some I use is TX Knifemaker Supply, K&G, Koval, or Jantz Supply.
Have fun, Doug

I think the blades in the kits are already treated.

I agree with OconeeDan and skullworks. The Helle knives are a wonderful choice.

I would also recommend getting them through Dryad bows because Wingnut is such a pleasure to deal with and they are a great value.
