Are posting trades permitted?
« on: February 19, 2008, 12:48:00 PM »
I am building up quite a few knife scales/handles of different materials and I was wondering if it was alright to post them for trade? No big deal. Just curious.

No idea.....may want to PM one of the mods about it to find out for sure.I do know you can do it in the knife and pack part of the classifieds section.

Trades or sales aren't permitted on any of the discussion forums.  That's what the classified sections are for.
However the knife classified section rules state: "No selling or trading of items you made new"  That starts to step on the toes of the sponsors, though there's a fine line where someone can put up a few items for trade.  When in doubt, PM the mods.  If only done occassionally and without the intention of making a profit I've seen it allowed.

just an FYI, i asked if i could trade and/or sell some of my furs i trapped this past season( as i see alot of furs in projects on here). I was told i would have to be some sort of sponser to do so. So i guess the answer would be no.
