More Knives
« on: March 01, 2008, 07:39:00 PM »
here are a couple i finished up today.  the one with cocalobolo scales turned out much better that i exspected.  the one with mammoth tooth scales, well didn't turn out as well as i exspected.  screwed up with the bolsters.  i bet i measured the bolsters three times and still made a rookie mistake.  oh well, guess it'll have to be a back up knife.  enjoy!

Yeah, if you don't want to use a messed up knife I would take it off of your hands. I really like the way it looks.

It's actually a little SE of Aiken...Windsor.  My wife has been going down the past few years to help a horse trainer over the winter.  Once I saw all the hog & deer hunting, I thought it's not such a bad place to be  :)

windsor is a very old area.  it was one of the first english settlements on the savannah river.  a ton of history in the surrounding areas, if you're into that sort of thing.  my farm is north of windsor near strom thurmond lake.  not much hog hunting in my area but we have plenty of deer and turkey.

varmint, the scales came off ****.
