latest endeavor
« on: March 19, 2008, 07:11:00 PM »
So today I thought I would start working on my latest blade that I forged last month. I still don't have a grinder, so I jumped on it with a file and got the mill scale off and a rough profile going. So far it looks like it might want to be a trailing point hunter. Now I only wonder if I have the intestinal fortitude to finish it with a file    or will I break down and blow the budget for a new KMG?    :D

I just ordered a new drill press today. and bought 200 # of steel yesterday. this is a sickness with no known cure   :bigsmyl:

hmmmm maybe I am closer to a KMG than I realized!

File it!  Keep the budget!  200# of steel?  What type?  Bar stock?

I gettin a 10" bandsaw this weekend.  A friend found one used (lightly) with a base.  So now I can do my wood work at home.  My little garage shop is becoming complete!
