Using Rare earth magnets for neck sheaths,DO they hold secure,is there an best size, does it take more than one and does the thickness of the magnet matter. Also sew them in or glue.THANX D.

No experience with magnets, but be sure to keep them away from the compass that might hang from your neck as well while hunting!

i bought 1/8" thick x 1/2" in diameter magnets off e**y. paid $20 for 40. two are holding my last neck sheath with power to spare. i cut out a depression in the leather, glued, and covered with a thin piece of leather.
