Here are a couple I finished today.Tried to make a pair like Doug's,but they did't come out the same.Maybe next time.
Small one 2.25" blade and is 5.75' oa
Bigger one is 3.25" blade and 7.5" oa
Both are 5160.Tell me what you think.

Did you forge the blades or remove stock?

I removed stock started with 1.75"x.25" and ground.Saw Doug's knives sketched on paper off internet put pattern on steel and ground.  Only been messing with knives 3 weeks, but can't wait to forge and looking forward to using some better (harder)woods.

Personally, I think they .......... are gorgeous - I mean it, Rooster! There is a lot to be said for clean lines and graceful shapes - especially in cutlery - IMO.
