Shawn,
      If I use a 1/8 pin, I drill a 1/8 hole. That's what I do.     Lin

Shawn,
I fasten my handle in several ways. Most of the time I use pins of some sort. Different sizes.           Lin

I go from 1/8" up to 1/4". I have used brass, copper and mosaic pins. I've seen people use rivet shafts, bolts, just about anything will work I guess.
