Depends on the steel, to be honest.
If it's an old (like pre '70's old) blade, there's about a 99% chance it's good quality, L6 steel. If it has tungsten carbide tipped teeth, then no, it'll be useless (probably  ;)  )
Without knowing the quality of the steel it's impossible to say. Not all sawblades are created equal  ;)  If you know for a 100% FACT that it's L6, I'd say it's a fair price. If y'aint 100% I'd say spend the $110 at Jantz or Texas Knife Supply and buy a load of proven, top quality 01 toolsteel.

Seems a little steep to me.I bought 5 at a local saw mill for $20 each.Three of them were the kind without replaceable tips and the other two I figured I could get a picture painted on for the den.

I'd say that's way overpriced, if you just want the steel.  You can buy a whole lot of new steel for that much, and you'll know what it really is.
You can get around 50 feet of 1/8" x 1 1/2"  1075/1080 from Admiral Steel for that much plus shipping.  You can get over 30 feet of Admiral's 8670 in 3/16" x 1 1/2" for about the same.

To much $ unless that is what you want? I have a few that I would be able to let go a little cheaper. Let me know if you do thanks.

Yeah seams a bit steep to me. I bought one off the auction site a while back for less than half that. But it was local so I picked it up to save shipping. If your interested in a piece to try I'd be willing to cut you off a chunk for a few bucks plus shipping. Skippy

I'd pay 20.00 tops.  Course I live in Logging country too.  The ones that are really rusty have the most character when completed.
