Wow thank you Frank,you da man.As I mentioned nothing special but my grandson's just love then as gifts.It just gives my something to do and keeps me out of trouble while waiting for paint to dry....bowdoc

Nope no luck on the bricks as yet.They were those red bricks rather then the yellowish firebrick the guy had for me.bd

There is a wood stove supply place right near me.I'am going to make a run up there this week and see is I could get a couple bricks off them.Will keep ya posted.bowdoc

From the texture on it, thats a moose that was killed in velvet or died in velvet. I have a couple whitetail antlers that were in velvet, it dries and gives it a rough look and feel, very similar to that.

Kid you are correct one anler was a shed and the other came off a bull killed in the velvet.It leaves those little grooves in the antler.Looks kind of neat that way...bd

Nope neather.Just a slow time in the bow business this time of the year.Because of the cold weather.I can't stand setting around and figured I make use of some matials and time.Lots of fun thats for sure...bowdoc
