Texas Pig Skinner
« on: January 09, 2009, 09:45:00 AM »
Just finished up a little pig skinner for the Pig Gig in Texas coming up in Feb.  Had to get on the board before ya'll were blown away by knives from a couple other Pig Gigers...Doug & Rob will be there too!  Dang with those two there, I figured I'd better have at least one knife without para-cord    Doc

Seven inches oal, sheep horn handle...left unpolished to match up with raw forged finger guard.

Nice way to set the bar!   :D   I love the look of that one, very 'Winkleresque'

I like that unfinished horn! That's cool.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Tom, I never got any Texas Sweat goat horn big enough to use.  Guess not good enough of a shot especially with you and Terry laughin' your heads off as I tried to crawl closer to them goats

bowdoc, If it don't hit the tradin' blanket at Pig Gig, we'll see what it can do on those Quebec black bears    :bigsmyl:
