building my first full tang blade

well thanks to the help of Chiger I am in the process of building my own full tang knife dont know how long its going to be before its done but i will scratch on it a little at a time heres the blank cut out so far . and thanks to adkmountainken I will be putting some nice wood side plates on it when I get that far thanks both of you guys for the materials and shareing your knowledge .

don't thank me thank Drewsbow, he brought A TON of the wood scales to my house and gave them away. i took some to pass on to others i thought could use them, glad you are getting some use out of them!!

I may have a local source to get them hardened, so there may be a few more pointy gifts going around!!!  I got a few from you at the AA but if you have a few more just collecting dust, I may be able to make a few more people's day.  Just a thought for the future as I'm pretty well swamped with knifemaking,hawk making, gun building, arrow making, and turkeybone wing callers at the moment  :knothead:  .Wouldn't have it any other way though  :D    :D  . Looking forward seeing you and Adam again, hopefully we can do a little more extracurricular stumping.
