« on: February 25, 2009, 09:55:00 AM »
here is a bowie i've been working on, oal 11 1/2 blade is 6 1/2  o1 steel. i know it's hard and tough because i nocked it off the work bench and it landed tip first on concrete and it's ok

this is another skiner i made for the land owner where i go hunting in south texas. oal 8 3/4 and blade is 4 1/2 o1 steel.

there is one thing i need to know, i've been useing superglue on the handles and i can not keep the glue out of the file work, and off the spine.
any thoughs will help
sorry about the pictures being fuzzy
thanks dana

Use blue painter's tape to mask it and if it still gets on it, use acetone on a cotton swab or even a toothpick. It might take a few rubbins, but it'll get it. Lin

Try taking a stick of string wax and give a rub along the spine making sure it gets in the file work.....Nice knife!
