Can a stainless blade be straightened?
« on: July 27, 2009, 11:11:00 PM »
Hey guys simple question hopefully. I built a knife from a blank made from 8a stainless and after glue up realized the last 1/2" of the tip of the blade is tweaked a bit to one side and is obviously bent. Is there a way to attempt to straighten the blade without heat and affecting the temper etc... Thanks Skippy

Worst case I'll just buy a new blank and re-do it but was hoping not to have to go that route.
