Knife makers in texas
« on: December 15, 2009, 01:58:00 PM »
Just wondering if there are any knife makers around Fort Worth Texas? Iam building acouple of Helle blanks and I think I got the bug. I would like to watch someone who knows what they are doing and learn the trick and such.
  Thanks

You can check the American Bladesmith Society web site for a list of Master Smiths. I saw a couple listed there but have not yet contacted any of them to see if they could help me out. I recently started just like you with Helle blades and now I'm on my second stock reduction file knife. Dana Holman, who responded above, has also helped me.
