Thanks craig
I had an older picture of the model 26 but the current 26 doesn't have a pommel. The one from my picture that I want to do a similar handle looks like the current model 25 Trapper.

I have a Trapper also. I'll give you measurements on both. I do know that the diameter varies with the size of the stag being used.

R. H.

The model 25 Trapper is  1 inch in diameter and 3/8" thick.

The model 26 Pathfinder is just a little larger than 3/4" in diameter and also 3/8 thick.

You do know that it is not perfectly round as it takes on the contour of the stag. The blade tang isn't very close to being centered in the butt.

Hope this helps, Craig

Thanks Craig, that helps a lot.Sometimes it's hard for me to get a perspective on size just from a picture.BTW congrats on owning some great knives.

R. H.
Glad to help out. Randall's are great, it just takes too long to get one. I think about a 5 year wait from the factory now. If I had the talent I'd try to make one. Good luck.
