What make/model is that knife?  Is the blade replaceable?

I'm about to retire the knife I make in '04. It has dressed a BUNCH!! of deer and small game.

This one is currently my go-to knife and will be on my belt starting Sep on a wilderness canoe trip and on my belt for the rest of the hunting season - and next - until it gets replaced.
It was my first 'JS' stamped knife.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Here is mine. It's a cheater blade made from an Old Hickory butcher knife cut down. Scales are bloodwwod and purpleheart with mosaic pins and a lanyard tube. Blade is cold blued.

AZ,that is a Havalon Piranta. It takes a #60 scalpel blade. It isn't the kind of knife that you pry with but it was designed for skinning.I recently skinned and quartered a 7' black bear in the field, after dark with it and used 4 blades. This includes severing the head and paws.

I have heard of people caping and dismantling elk with them using only 3 blades.Blades are 29 cents each.I've cut up smaller bears with 2 blades.I really like the orange handle.

Course it's a Campbell blade   ;)   although I've been known to carry Steflik's, Tippit's, Roughcountry's, Anderson's, Rhea's, ....   ;)

Been using this little jewel for a couple years now, Damascus guard and blade with some sweet Desert Bighorn from Nevada.

Gabe, you need to resize your oversize pic also.

Thanks

Here is a Knife made by my cousin Vic from a blank of steel and handle made from real prehistoric elephant Ivory. Sheath is hand made also.

I'll be carrying these two made for me by Clarence (Skullworks). Xcut Black/White Ebony. These are my first customs, and first Damascas. They are beautiful, and exacty what I wanted.

I'm taking this bowhunting this year to use for whacking brush:

And I still use the first crappy little knife I ever made because it fits perfectly in my quiver and is sharp as all get out...

sure is ugly though.

Scott the knife in the first pic is incredible. If I post a pic and it looks like I am trying to copy your work - it is because I am  :p

no problem!  But I want to see you get a deeper, wider finger guard than I did. Still need to work on that...

Falcon.... love that blade.
