08 knife swap
« on: July 14, 2010, 08:48:00 PM »
Way back in 2008 I was in the TG knife swap that Jeremy holds every year. I got this knife in the swap from Bobby Urban. This knife gets used and I just wanted to say it is one of my favorite knives to use. I never posted this knife after the swap and thought today after I used it to post it up.The blade is carbon steel and the scales are cherry burl.I love a rustic looking knife.thanks<><

Thanks for Posting Stic - I miss that chopper and am now inspired to create another.  Glad you love it and very glad it gets used.  I love making hunting knives but even on a great year they only get used a few times vs. making kitchen tools that can see daily use - I build em to use em.

Best to you - Bob Urban
