I have this urge to do some coal forging, I found a cast iron pan style forge at our dump and need a hand cranked blower. Any help in finding one would be appreciated.
Problem with fleabay is can't determine if they are any good. Thanks...tippit

Jeff, just go the auction site and punch in "forge blower".
And don't limit your search to "blacksmith forge blower".

Jeff, I spotted a big blower today at a nearby ranch. It's like one I have, only reason I noticed it.
The fan houseing is cracked but could be brazed I think. I'll look it over closer when I'm there next and see if he will part with it.

Doc, my dad has a real nice one... I'll give him a call tonight and see if he'd be willing to part with it. It hasn't been used in, well, I don't think I've ever seen him actually use it!

Jeremy,
That would be nice. The price isn't so much the problem just knowing I don't have to rebuild the thing is what I'm after

Tippit - I have two of em - antiques but both work very well. they're heavy buggers tho; the shipping from WA state may be quite a bit. pm me if you're interested in paying the shipping on one of em. I'd guess that you could find one closer to you - -sourowl (Mike Roberts)
