Some recently finished knives
« on: December 24, 2010, 10:12:00 PM »
It has been slow here in the knife shop.  But with a little time from the day job, I finished these up.

Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy,

James

Fantastic!  I especially like number four with its sheath.  Thanks for sharing!

I really like your knives and your sheaths. Very clean, professional lines. And by the way, it makes me sick to see how crisp you guys get your plunge lines. (I think that's what they are called) Mine look good till I sand the blade then the sharp line kind of melts away.

James you do clean work.

I noticed, however, some extras that you incorporate in your knives that really add to their beauty.

The spacers material is not necessary, but sure is eye pleasing.

The pin location is nice and centered up and down as well as spaced well.

The orientation of the wood's grain is a nice touch that some dont think about. You did.

From knife to knife the fit and finish is very consistant.

The nice flowing curves did not just happen. Very much intentional.

All of the above tells me that you are serious about your work. Good job. Lin

Thank you Gentlemen!!  It was a slow year last year, but I should be able to get a few moore out this year.  I need to clean up the list of requested knives I have, then I hope to make some I have had drawn up for some time.  I like to try new thing and more difficult builds, so hopefully you guys will see some new stuff in the future.
