Anvil find

Think this is a good anvil?  Kinda out of my price range, but at any rate, whacha think?

I personally wouldn't pay $600 for one that had its face and horn welded. It can be done correctly but how do you know. One can buy a helluva nice anvil for $600 that has not been welded.

I agree with kuch. That's too much. Add a few dollars to your $600 and have a new one the same size and pattern.

yeah its a tad high,  I have a #150 Trenton I bought years ago, was never even used,  paid $150....  but that was more of being in the right place at the right time.

If you are patient and keep your eyes open and cash ready you can pick up a real nice working anvil for $2 per lb. or less.
