quiver help please
« on: January 28, 2008, 09:28:00 PM »
hey guys i want a relativly cheap quiver but durable. I was thinking getting a hip quiver and then putting a sling on it so it can be worn at the side. Maybe i could use this quiver and add the strap? what do you think? or any better ideas? Any input is greatly appreciated

I have a hip quiver that's the same design.  Never tried to put a strap on it.  The quiver is great if I'm stand hunting where the stand is fairly easy to get to but if I'm stalking/still hunting through the thick stuff my feathers get beat to heck and it makes alot of noise.  Bow quivers are great for stalking/still hunting, but the hip quiver is great in a stand when you don't want the extra weight of the bow quiver.  Good luck!

A regular hip quiver with a belt around your shoulder (rather than waist) works pretty well.   You can move it around to get through brush and so forth.

Here it is in action...

(Oh - and it's cheap - yeah!)
