'Bama Steak Knife
« on: April 08, 2011, 05:22:00 PM »
After the Tenn Classic, Whip & I will be headed to Alabama to do a little shooting with Don & Skyler.  This is the 2010 St Judes Bow Fishing Adventure that we were lucky enough to win last years auction.

Guru had just been down there bow fishing & enjoying Don & Skyler's Southern Hospitality.  Since this will be my first time to ever try bow fishing, I thought I'd better read Guru's post 'Bama Bound!!! in pow wow. I expected to pick up some good bow fishing tips...But I was totally unprepared for this picture on Southern Hospitality     :bigsmyl:   My 'Bama Steak Knife!  AOL 10 1/2 inches with 6 inch blade and Curly Maple handle.  Don't worry Don, it will work on PB&J too...Doc

What a good boy scout you are. You could have done a matching filet knife as well  :)

Jeff,

That is a lovely knife, as all of yours seem to be. Thanks for sharing.

Jeff....I love that knife!!!!!
I showed this to Tammy last night and she said she would take care of providing something to cut that would do justice to such a beautiful knife....and it won't be Carp Filets'  :)

DW I agree that beauty shouldn't be cutting carp. That knife deserves something a little more fitting and I'm sure you bama boys will find something perfect judging from Curt's pictures.   :bigsmyl:
