Recurve Camp Knife
« on: April 28, 2011, 10:16:00 PM »
Hello all,

Here is a knife I just finished for the person designing my future web page.  Design came from a combination of both of us.  This knife has few first for me, first recurve blade, first taper tang with a guard, and first sculpted handle.

Specs:
Recurve Camp
6-1/2" long 3/16" thick O1 blade
Heat treated to RC 59
800 grit hand rubbed finish
11-1/2" Overall Lenght
Radiused Clip Point (not sharpened)
Stabilized Maple Burl handle
Tapered tang
416 Guard and Pins
Two tone inlayed sheath

I hope you all enjoy the photos and comments are welcomed.

James

I'll tell ya, the first thing i am going to do when i get a decent job is call Emmons and have a special knife made.  I am going to treat myself when it comes, I'll certainly deserve it!

Just beautiful stuff!
