Dagger with wenge and bronze
« on: August 21, 2011, 05:33:00 PM »
A fellow started making a knife from a file when he was in jr. high He didn't know to anneal it and didn't get very far. It was given to me to finish as a surprise for him. All he got done was a point on the end that defined it as a dagger.

The thing that saved me on this one was the filing jig that Lin Rhea showed here. Thank you Lin.
Thanks for looking,
-Jim

Now that's nice. Love the blade grinds.

I'm glad that the filing jig tip helped you. Lin

Thanks sticks.
Boomer, it has a 5.5" blade and is 10" OAL. The fittings are bronze and the pommel is almost 3/4" thick at its widest.
