What kind of steel ?

I recently found some steel from an old machine that appears that it was used to cut threads for pipes maybe from the 1950-60s.
I was thinking of forging a small blade out of them, any Idea what type steel it may be?

that looks like the dies for a pipe threader
my guess would be m-2 high speed steel
