i have a few spools of brownell B-50.  i am thinking about getting some more colors, but was wondering if it would be compatible with byc's B-500.

I'm told that they are....they are both Dacron polyester so they should work togther without a conflict,

FWIW my B50 isn't all the same diameter-my Gold thread is fatter than the Black and the Tan I have. Weird but hasn't caused me problems.

It won't hurt the bow, but the stretch/creep may be different.  Although the same basic material (polyester), they are processed a little differently.  I wouldn't mix the two myself.
