Sheath for Karl Anderson Knife
« on: November 15, 2011, 11:07:00 AM »
Here is a sheath I built for one of Karl's knives. Trad Ganger Tom Phillips owns this baby! Its a lefty cross draw with stingray inlay. It is lined with veg tan Kangaroo and has a finger carved back with a small basket stamp. Hope You injoy! Suty's sheath will be next.

Wow! I like that sheath a lot. I like everything about it.
(That knife goes back in time some!)
So, is that a left-hand sheath?

When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Thanks Guys. Ray can caus come problems Mainly iy will cut your thread. I broke a needle with this one. I try and dremil the bone down that will be hidden. I use sanded ray and small ones that helps. We made a lot of stringray western exotic belts where I worked in town. We just laminated the length of sting ray and sewed in the tips. It is difficult to work with when trying ti get sharp edges in inlays.
