A few knife handles...

The wife and I flew up to AK for Christmas with the kids so decided I would do a little hunting while here. I put an add in the local "trader" site looking for handle material. I think I done well so far... :D
40#, 5' oal (18" not in pic) of fossil mammoth tusk. Whatcha think?

thats awesome Doug, where did you guys go up here. I still wish i could have met up with you and your wife in Missoula, but alas that pesky work got in the way.lol

Thanks guys, wish I could find a bunch more of this stuff. Not sure how many handle scales I've got here but there are several...
We're in Sitka Fin, get out there and find some of these or maybe a fossil walrus tusk or two and we'll be talkin doing some swapping.
