TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS "MAYBe"
« on: January 30, 2008, 01:49:00 PM »
It's been a long while since I've posted here:dntthnk: Anyway, My wife is going to New Orleans on a mission trip for church this summer. I was thinking of possibly going myself to see if I could find some good bow wood or knapping materials. Thus, is their anyone around here that would be interested in getting together to split some staves or go rock hunting should I decide to acompany here down to New Orleans?

Thanks,
Cooter

Eric I sent a  P.M.to you. You might have to go to a concrete plant to find rocks in La.Kip

KIP, got the PM. I don't know when the mission trip is. I think some time towards the middle of
July. If the timing is right, we might be in time for a detour to Marshall, MO for a day/night at MoJam.   :clapper:

Dano, glad to see your still around. hope everything is going good for you. Are you still flinging arrows and making saw dust?

For myself, I didn't have a whole lot of energy last fall to running around the woods look'n
for bambi. This Pulmonary Sarcadosis I'm battling just drains me. I am trying to get out more and walk the neighbor hood for exersize and hope I'll have the energy to turkey hunt this spring.
