Knife Restoration
« on: January 23, 2012, 04:33:00 PM »
I just found 2 knives that my father used to own. One is an old Boy Scout jack-knife the other is a 6" hunting knife. Both seem to be in good working condition, but they need cleaned up. Does anyone have any recommendations on who could help me clean these knives up?

I would check with Clarence Smitherman (skullworks).  He did a great job cleaning up and putting a new handle on an old knife for me, including making a beautiful sheath to go with it.

In addition to Clarence, another person to contact is Samuel Koger here on tradgang. Sam is a great guy and does fantastic work.   Here is an example  of what he did for me.  More pictures with this   link.
