Knife for PV--Cross Draw Sheath Added
« on: February 18, 2012, 12:24:00 PM »
Paul (PV on Trad Gang) is a great friend/hunting buddy.  He is one of the big reasons why Team Tippit broadheads have such a high Kill rate     ;)     Those who know him also know what an amazing bowyer he is.  He honored me this fall with one of his rocket launchers.  I know this little Keeslar caper doesn't come close to the my new bow but it should help finish what he does with his TT broadheads...tippit

Caper--1084 OAL 7 1/2 inches with shallow top false edge and Dessert Ironwood handle.

Jeff,

That may be my favorite of all the knives of yours that I have seen!  It reminds me of one of Doug Campbell's capers with your Keeslar look. I think you have found the perfect design for your version of a caper, and I will be patiently waiting for one.     :)

Got a call from Jeff this afternoon. Mentioned he had something I might like to take to Texas. I had not seen this thread and after seeing what he had waiting for me I'm glad I hadn't . The pic's of the knife while good don't do it justice. To say I'm pleased would be a gross understatement and I'm honored to have it.
It's been out of the sheath quite a few times in the few hours I've had it not for use but to admire.

 The bows ok..the knife spectacular!!!

And as one craftsman to another you did very very good my friend!

Thank you

Have a few of the TT broadheads ready to go and will file a research study on compatiblity.
