I recently joined Trad Gang but have lurked here for a year or two. I am into traditional archery and hunting knives. I have been making knives for a couple years and everything that I've learned up to this point has been from helpful knifemakers on forums like this one. Anyway I thought I would post pics of a few knives I've made. The wenge handled one is the only one I've made this year, the rest are from last year. Seems there are some very talented knifemakers here that don't mind sharing their knowledge and I look forward to learning from you guys

Thanks alot guys, I appreciate the kind words.
Todd, the bottom knife handle is made of wenge. I textured it with a wire brush. I am about an hour south of Jackson, MS.

I really like the way that texture turned out!
I was born and raised just south of Monticello, MS. Are you from around Brookhaven?

wissler, made the one on top for my son. I let him pound on it in the early stages of forging.
Ben, good to see you. You are turning out some fine work these days

Welcome, Craig. I really like all of these knives, particularly that last one.
I passed through your way yesterday on the way home from Oxford and Vicksburg.... back to the flat land that is Southeast Louisiana.

Welcome to the forum! Great looking blades. The lines, fit and finish on the bottom knife is outstanding.

I agree that the last knife would get my vote for best knife, but what is that wood on the second one? The colors look like tulip wood, but not quite. Beautiful wood!
