Need help pricing bow..
« on: January 30, 2008, 03:25:00 PM »
I have Damon Howatt recurve that I want to sell but have no idea of it worth.  It is 58", 25 lb @28", RH, and in excellent condition.  I will try to add pics on this post.  The color is much like the BW greybark but a bit greener, limbs are black and limb tips have the green/grey.  Its a beautiful bow.

A few years ago it would have been a $25 dollar bow because nobody was buying.
With all the new interest in "trad" that has changed. So many people are buying bows to just have them that there are few afordable bows left for new young archers.
My guess would be in the $100 range.

More important is getting it into the hands of someone to use it. If I was selling it to a youngster the price would be in line whith what they could afford.

An auction site search of finished auctions will give you a general idea of going price on similar bows.
