1084 and 15N20

with desert ironwood mortised handle 416 stainless guard.
 
Some mistakes in it, but I'm learning.

Ray, I'm not seeing any "mistakes".  Looks really good and nice work on the sheath as well.

Ray's eye is very attuned to small things most of us wont see or wont call a mistake. That shows his standard is very high and he is indeed pushing himself to improve more and more with every knife. So, when he says there are mistakes, well..... let's just say you will be hard pressed to find them. You will notice that this knife is a mortised tang constructed knife. That is relatively new to him and he's taking to it naturally. It takes a different approach, some different tools, and ways of looking at it. I would give him high marks on this knife.

Dale - I can't claim the sheath! I am no leather worker.  I have someone make mt sheaths for me and they do look nice, yes thanks to him
