Question for the knife guys
« on: August 19, 2012, 10:06:00 AM »
I was just wondering if any of you have seen a knife like this and if so can you give me a little info on it. All I can tell you is I found this when I was a kid living in North Carolina. That was a good 40 years ago. The handle looks like it was made by hand. There are no markings on it to indicate a maker. The only marks are my initials I carved when I first found it (dumb kid). The knife has been sitting in a box for the past 40 years.

Thanks and sorry for the poor photos.

Doesn't have much of an edge on it now and I haven't tried sharpening it.

That would be around the right time frame.
