Catching up...
« on: November 24, 2012, 12:24:00 PM »
While I've been kinda lurking and I have been keeping up with the cool stuff y'all are posting. I have sure been shirking my posting duties.    ;)    Any time I've not been out in the hills hunting I've been spending in the shop trying to get Christmas orders done in time. Seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel now... Figured I'd best post a few pics of recently finished stuff.

The Liner Lock Folders have been popular, here are a couple in Damascus and Mammoth Ivory.

Here is more Damascus and Mammoth Ivory in a 4 1/2" hunter that now resides in Idaho.

Our general hunting season ends tomorrow so I wont have to be torn on whether to go to the shop or the hills... Thanks for looking, now it's time to head back to the shop er hills er shop hmmm...   ;)

pics to big.

Of course I love the folders, but I am quite fond of this hunter!!
Very sweet, Doug.

I'm with Karl. I like the folders, but I absolutely LOVE that Hunter!!!! Wow, Doug, you are really producing some outstanding knives. Let me know who has that Hunter in Idaho, because I'm going to go wrestle him for it. Everything about that knife is both beautiful and functional.

Thanks Guys, appreciate the feedback, glad you like em. I'm getting some good mileage out of that Mammoth tusk I found in AK last winter.

Come on out Kevin, I could use a good inspector.

All are outstanding, as I have come to expect when I click on one of your threads. Fixed  blades have a spot in my heart for certain, but I am a folder man for EDC. I even have one in my Sunday go to meeting cloths most times. That first one trips my trigger!! Congrats on some fantastic cutlery and also on a great season!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again guys, and that is on the list for things to come David...

Don't have the Hunter where I can measure it but the blade is right at 4 1/2" I believe, the blade and guard is 1080/15N20 Damascus made by me.
