Potomac Forge Hunter/caper
« on: January 13, 2013, 08:17:00 AM »
This knife was a long time comming, I forged it at my ABS Intro Course in "09' and recently finished it, my first of 2013.

1075 steel, copper liners, file worked spine and Desert Ironwood and pure silver pins.  Hand tooled sheath. this little knife is super sharp.

The Ironwood is much nicer in hand than the image shows. I have several book matched sets of Desert Ironwood this handle is so slim I chose the least figured as not to waste better figured wood.

7 3/4" OAL, 3 1/4" blade
Steve your pics are to wide please resize and post again thanks.

Purdy knife and sheath!

Very nice work.  I like the spacers and blade profile.  The sheath is attractive, too.

Great knife with some awesome file work. The sheath is a great partner for the knife
