Another one of those AR guys made an axe.
« on: June 10, 2013, 12:04:00 PM »

I was inspired by Lin Rhea's work and decided to give it a whirl myself.  I was also lucky enough to make it down to Little Rock to see how he does it.  I've only made a couple, but I figure it out a bit more each time.  This one is mild steel with a 5160 bit and has a curly maple handle.  Now I just need to get back out in the woods and chop on some stuff.

I'm really liking that Maple....what did you do for a finish on it?  The whole package looks great.
