Which bow stringer?
« on: February 04, 2007, 08:57:00 AM »
I was wondering which bow stringer that you would recommend for a Morrison Cheyenne?

I have a Bear recurve stringer with a plastic cup on one end, but the cup doesn't fit well on the lower nock of the Morrison. It tends to want to twist when you bring the limbs under tension. Thanks.
Yours truly,
Walter

Maybe the Neet products N-RBS would be a good choice.

I believe with a bow like that I would e-mail Bob and find out what works with his bow, before I twisted a limb. Hap

I prefer the stringer made by Selway Archery. It will fit just about any size limb.I have had some of those other stringers come off the limb tips. Nothing like have the limb tip hit you in the face.

Walter,

I have a Morrison Cheyenne and currently use a Neet stringer T-RBS.  It is a double cup string (goes tip to tip) not the kind that has the rubber block that goes on the limb.  This is also the kind of stringer that Bob recommend to me.
