W1 Hunter for Janesville
« on: March 22, 2014, 08:11:00 PM »
A knife I'll be taking to my next knife show in Janesville, Wisconsin next week.
It's been a pretty tough go of it for a while.
Without going into a lot of detail, I burned off the membrane in the eye that covers the cornea. I was totally blind for a while in that eye. Pain level of 10 on a 1-10 scale. Poor sleep. So, not much knife work got done.
Luckily, the eye tissues are the fastest healing tissues in the body.
Still not healed, but I managed to get this done.
A W1 blade with natural hamon and fabulous African Blackwood handle material.
See ya' in Wisconsin!

A little True Grit humor?
I don't mind being compared to Rooster Cogburn.

Sorry to hear of the eye injury. While the eye may heal fast, eye injuries are very painful. I hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

Beautiful knife though. Thanks for sharing.
