New one with mojo
« on: March 30, 2014, 04:59:00 PM »
I finished one for my Neosho Archers club raffle.

Self dyed elk antler, copper & nickle silver guard & butt plate. I fell into some marco polo sheep horn scraps (thanks Dave Ricke), it just so happened that Roy Case owned the horn it came off of, hence the good mojo with this one. Brass & black spacers. The blade is ats34.

I made the sheath also.

It`s kind of odd looking with that crook on the top, but it really fits the hand well. I hope someone likes it.

Lots of flaws in this one, lots to learn. I think I`m pretty hooked.

As always comments & critiques welcome.

I like it too!

I would think the handle shape and orientation would put the blade in a good position for its intended use.

Brian,  that one looks great.  I think someone will be happy to take it home.
