Thanks Darcy.

It is some really hairy stuff compaired to what I see elsewhere and yes, I have struggled getting crisp lines and even cuts. I did not realize how much the flesh side matters. Looks like I'm going to have get the better stuff from now on.

Thanks so much for the advise/tips.

Sometimes if the leather is pretty good and solid, but still a bit fuzzy on the flesh side, you can line the sheath with a lighter leather to improve the finished product. I have a huge piece of black biker leather that I use for lining sheaths.......doesn't add much cost, but is a real nice upgrade and not too hard to do.
