Maple Burl Clip Point Utility
« on: April 22, 2014, 04:44:00 PM »
Here is my most recent knife from a antique saw mill blade.  A small EDC, OAL 7" with a 3 1/4" blade edge quenched vineger etch. L6 steel.  Nice piece of Maple Burl with some spalting, Tung oil finish.

Almost forgot to mention the blade has a slight convex grind.

Steve, your stuff just keeps getting cleaner with every knife. That one's about as simple as they get, but really pleasing and looks about as friendly to the hand as could be.

Awesome.  That maple really pops and I love the whole design.  I actually have a very similar small raised clip in the works.  My handle profile is different but blade profile and overall size is pretty close.
